Open Net IPTV on your TV and note the MAC / APP ID shown at the bottom of the welcome screen. On your phone or computer, go to netiptv.eu/Upload, enter that ID and press Add List, then paste your Smootv M3U link into List 1 and add it. Restart the app and LIVE, MOVIES and SERIES fill with your Smootv content. Net IPTV is a paid player: once its trial ends, you activate it per device on the Net IPTV payment page.

- A phone or computer to open the Net IPTV website
Good to know
Net IPTV is only a player. It comes without channels, and its makers are a separate company from Smootv. The activation fee goes to Net IPTV, your subscription goes to Smootv, and you need both to keep watching once the trial of the app has ended.
Step 1: Note Your MAC / APP ID
Open Net IPTV on your TV. The welcome screen says Welcome to NetIPTV! and shows an Add Playlist button. Look below it, under Or Add from Website: the bar at the very bottom holds your MAC / APP ID. Write it down exactly or take a photo of it.
Step 2: Enter Your ID on the Net IPTV Upload Page
On your phone or computer, open the upload page of Net IPTV: netiptv.eu/Upload
The page has three columns. Use the first one, UPLOAD M3U/URL. Type your MAC / APP ID into its field and press Add List.
Step 3: Paste Your Smootv M3U Link
The column now shows four fields, List 1 to List 4. Paste your Smootv M3U link into List 1 and press the green Add List button next to it. If you filled in more than one field, press Add ALL List at the bottom instead.
Copy and paste the M3U link instead of typing it. One wrong character is enough to leave the app empty.

Step 4: Restart the App and Start Watching
Close Net IPTV on your TV and open it again, or use Reload in the app. The main screen now has three tabs at the top, LIVE, MOVIES and SERIES, filled with your Smootv channels, films and series, plus a search box to find a channel by name.
Step 5: Activate Net IPTV
Net IPTV is a paid player. After its free trial you activate it per device, and the payment page offers two plans: Unlimited, which you pay once for that device, and 24 Month. In our screenshot Net IPTV lists Unlimited at 13.99 € and 24 Month at 6.79 €. Net IPTV sets these prices, so check the page for the current ones.
Open the payment page of Net IPTV: netiptv.eu/Payment
- Pick the box of the plan you want, Unlimited or 24 Month.
- Make sure the box to accept the terms is ticked, then enter your e-mail address. The receipt goes there.
- Enter your MAC / APP ID exactly as the app shows it.
- Press Click To PAY and finish the checkout.
- Go back to the TV and restart the app, or use Reload. The trial label should disappear within a few seconds.
Check the MAC / APP ID twice before you pay
The activation is tied to that one device and usually cannot be moved to another. Keep the payment receipt together with your MAC / APP ID.
That is all. Your playlist stays linked to this device, so you only do this once.
If Something Does Not Work
The app stays empty after the upload
Restart the app first. If it is still empty, upload the link again and check two things: the MAC / APP ID matches the one on your TV character for character, and the M3U link was pasted in full.
The website does not accept my MAC / APP ID
Type it exactly as the app shows it, with the colons. The letter O and the number 0 are easy to mix up, and so are the letter B and the number 8. The website also has a CHECK MAC page in its menu, which you can use to check your ID.
The app still shows the trial label after paying
Wait 5 to 10 minutes, restart the app and check the MAC / APP ID you entered against the one on the TV. If nothing changes, use CHECK MAC on the website or contact Net IPTV support with your receipt, because they handle the activation.
The picture buffers or freezes
Use a network cable or 5 GHz Wi-Fi. You need about 25 Mbps for HD and 50 Mbps for 4K. Restarting your router and the app often helps as well.
Net IPTV Questions
Is Net IPTV free?
Only during its trial. After that Net IPTV has to be activated per device, with a choice between Unlimited and 24 Month. In our screenshot of the payment page these are listed at 13.99 € and 6.79 €. The prices are set by Net IPTV and can change.
Does the Net IPTV activation include channels?
No. The activation only unlocks the player. Channels, films and series come from your Smootv playlist.
I have two TVs. Do I pay twice?
Yes. The activation is tied to the MAC / APP ID, so every TV or device needs its own.
Can I add the playlist inside the app instead of on the website?
The welcome screen has an Add Playlist button for that, and it states that Xtream and M3U formats are supported. We describe the website route here because pasting a long link on a phone or computer is much easier than typing it with a remote control.
Do I have to upload the playlist again when I renew Smootv?
No, as long as your M3U link stays the same. If we send you a new link, upload it once with the same MAC / APP ID.
