Open Flix IPTV and write down the MAC address on the welcome screen. On your phone or computer, open the My List page of the Flix website, enter that MAC address, paste your Smootv M3U link in the Url field and press Send. Restart the app and your channels, films and series load. Flix IPTV runs free for 7 days; after that it costs a one-time €8.99 per device.

Good to know
Flix IPTV is only a player. Its own website says it is not a content host and that nothing is preloaded. The €8.99 goes to Flix for the app, your subscription goes to Smootv for the channels, and you need both after the 7 trial days.
Step 1: Find Your MAC Address
Open Flix IPTV. The welcome screen shows your MAC address: six pairs of letters and numbers separated by colons. Write it down with the colons, or take a photo.
Missed it? You can look it up at any time. Open Settings in the menu on the left and choose User Account.
The User Account window shows the MAC address, the account state (Trial until you activate) and the expiry date.
Step 2: Send Your Playlist on the Flix Website
On your phone or computer, open the My List page: flixiptv.eu/mylist
- In Mac Address, type the MAC address from the app, colons included.
- In Url, paste your Smootv M3U link.
- Press Send to save.
The + button next to the Url field adds a second playlist. Further down the same page, Parent Pin lets you protect the playlist with a code.

Step 3: Restart the App and Start Watching
Close Flix IPTV and open it again, or choose Refresh Playlist in the menu. Give it a few seconds. Live TV, Movies and Series in the menu on the left now hold your Smootv content.
Step 4: Activate Flix IPTV Before the Trial Ends
The app is free for 7 days. After that Flix asks for a one-time fee of €8.99 per device, and the activation is for life. Flix advises activating before the trial runs out, because it removes your data from the device and its servers once the trial has expired.
Open the activation page: flixiptv.eu/activation
- Type your MAC address and press Check.
- Enter your e-mail address under Billing Info.
- Choose how you want to pay, by card through Stripe or with cryptocurrency, and press Pay Now.
- Go back to the TV and restart the app. The account state no longer says Trial.
Check the MAC address before you pay
Flix states that payments are final and are not refunded, and the activation is tied to the device you register. Keep the receipt together with your MAC address.
That is all. The playlist stays linked to your MAC address, so you only do this once per device.
If Something Does Not Work
The app stays empty after you pressed Send
Restart the app or use Refresh Playlist first. If it is still empty, send the playlist again and check that the MAC address matches the app exactly, colons included, and that the M3U link was pasted in full.
You cannot find the MAC address
If the welcome screen has already gone, open Settings, then User Account. The MAC address stays on screen there as long as you need.
The account still says Trial after paying
Flix says activation is instant, but give it 5 to 10 minutes and restart the app. If nothing changes, contact Flix support with your receipt and MAC address, because they handle the activation.
The picture buffers or freezes
Use a network cable or 5 GHz Wi-Fi. You need about 25 Mbps for HD and 50 Mbps for 4K. Restarting your router and the app often helps as well.

Is Flix IPTV free?
For the first 7 days. After the trial Flix charges a one-time €8.99 per device, and that activation does not expire.
Does the activation include channels?
No. It only unlocks the player. Flix states that the app has no preloaded content, so channels, films and series come from your Smootv playlist.
I have two TVs. Do I pay twice?
Yes. The fee is per device, so each TV or box has its own MAC address and needs its own activation.
Can I get a refund from Flix?
No. Flix states that payments are final and non-refundable. Use the 7 trial days to make sure everything works on your device before you pay.
Can I add more than one playlist?
Yes. On the My List page, press the + button next to the Url field to add another link for the same MAC address.
Do I have to send the playlist again when I renew Smootv?
No, as long as your M3U link stays the same. If we send you a new link, send it once on the My List page with the same MAC address.
