The portal is saved under Connections, so you only type these details once.<\/p><\/div><\/section>\n<\/div>\n<h2 id=\"fixes\">If Something Does Not Work<\/h2><div class=\"sg-fixes\"><div class=\"sg-fix\"><h3>The portal does not connect<\/h3><p>Check the Portal Url first. It must start with http:\/\/ and match your Smootv message exactly, including the port number. Then check that Is the login required? is ticked and that the username and password have no typing mistakes.<\/p><\/div><div class=\"sg-fix\"><h3>You cannot find Connections<\/h3><p>It is in the menu on the left side of the app, between Schedule and Settings. Scroll down in that menu if the item is not on screen.<\/p><\/div><div class=\"sg-fix\"><h3>New channels or films are missing<\/h3><p>Open the menu and press Refresh. The app loads the content of your portal again.<\/p><\/div><div class=\"sg-fix\"><h3>The picture buffers or freezes<\/h3><p>Use a network cable or 5 GHz Wi-Fi. You need about 25 Mbps for HD and 50 Mbps for 4K.
