What CAP Player Does
CAP Player is a media player. It plays the playlist you add to it, from Smootv or from another provider. The app itself comes without channels.

Is CAP Player free?
CAP Player is free for the first 7 days. After the trial the app needs an activation.
Through Smootv, activation costs €8 for one year or €10 for lifetime. With a Smootv 12-month subscription the activation is included at no extra cost.
How do I activate CAP Player?
Open CAP Player and note your MAC address and Device Key, as shown in the app.
Send this to our support on WhatsApp or Telegram and tell us which option you want: one year, lifetime, or the 12-month subscription.
We send you the payment details in the chat. After payment we activate the app, usually within minutes. Restart CAP Player afterwards.
Do I need an activation code?
No. We activate CAP Player on the details of your device, so there is no code to type. Be careful with sites that offer free activation codes or modified app files. They do not work, and some carry malware.
Can I get free activation without a Smootv subscription?
No. Free activation is part of the Smootv 12-month plan only. If you have a playlist from another provider, choose the one-year activation for €8 or lifetime for €10.
Is activation included with a 1, 3 or 6-month Smootv plan?
No. Only the 12-month plan includes it. With a shorter plan you add an activation separately: €8 for one year or €10 for lifetime.
Does the activation include channels?
No. CAP Player is only the player. Channels, films and series come from your playlist, from Smootv or from another provider.
Can I use one activation on several devices?
No. An activation is tied to one device, so every TV or device needs its own.
How do I move my activation to a new TV?
Install CAP Player on the new TV, note your MAC address and Device Key there, and message our support. We will tell you what is possible for your activation.
How do I add my playlist to CAP Player?
It takes about five minutes. Our setup guide shows every step with screenshots.
How do I get a Smootv playlist and the free activation together?
Ask us for a 24-hour trial on WhatsApp or Telegram and mention that you use CAP Player. Test the playlist first. If you are happy, pay for the 12-month plan and send us your MAC address and Device Key. We activate the app and your playlist keeps running.
