The app remembers your details, so next time it opens straight on the home screen.<\/p><\/div><\/section>\n<\/div>\n<h2 id=\"fixes\">If Something Does Not Work<\/h2><div class=\"sg-fixes\"><div class=\"sg-fix\"><h3>The app cannot connect after you press Apply<\/h3><p>Check the three fields again. The URL must start with http:\/\/ and have no space at the end, and the login and password must match our message letter for letter.<\/p><\/div><div class=\"sg-fix\"><h3>The details are right but it still fails<\/h3><p>Open the provider again and switch API version from v2 to v1, then press Apply once more. That is the only case in which you should change this setting.<\/p><\/div><div class=\"sg-fix\"><h3>The provider was added but the home screen stays empty<\/h3><p>Check that Active is ticked for the Smootv provider and that it is the one selected in the list. Then wait a few seconds, because the first load takes the longest.<\/p><\/div><div class=\"sg-fix\"><h3>The picture buffers or freezes<\/h3><p>Use a network cable or 5 GHz Wi-Fi. You need about 25 Mbps for HD and 50 Mbps for 4K.
